Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enroll my device?

Open OS Field and enter the enrollment token issued by your subcontractor. This links your device to their organization so your jobsite photos are attributed correctly. If you don't have a token, contact the subcontractor you work for.

The camera or location isn't working.

OS Field needs Camera and Location ("When In Use") permissions to capture time- and location-stamped photos. Go to your device Settings → OS Field and make sure both are enabled. Without them, the app can't perform its core function.

My photos aren't uploading.

Check that your device has a working internet connection. Photos are uploaded to OS Underground servers when a connection is available. If the problem continues, email us with your device model and roughly when the issue started.

How do I save photos to my gallery?

Enable "save to gallery" in the app's Settings. This requests optional Photo Library access and saves copies of your jobsite photos to your device.

How do I disconnect my device or delete my data?

You can disconnect your device at any time from the app's Settings, which ends enrollment and stops further data collection. To request deletion of your data, email us at the address below.
